Snare Systems is a full range game console repair shop. What makes our repair service so special? We offer all game console repairs from Red Ring of Death XBOX fixes to PlayStation 3 Blu-Ray drive replacements. Imagine that you’re finally off work and you just want to go home, eat a sandwich and play some XBOX, but when you turn it on it just blinks red. This can be something as small as a disc error to something as major as a motherboard overheating.

The game console has become a common household accessory, especially if there are children in the house. Gaming has become a favorite activity of not just kids but adults as well. The increasing popularity and complexity of game consoles has also increased the need for game console repairs. Game consoles, no matter what brand ( Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo ) all need repairs sooner or later.

What makes us different from other repair services in the market is our expertise in handling special repairs. It takes a great amount of experience and infrastructure to actually render a proper repair. Consoles, especially the ones with a complicated hardware setup, can crash if the system is abused over a long period of time, not to mention dust buildup causing over heating issues. Today’s game consoles are very complex, and have more in common with your home computer than any consoles prior. With all consoles having disc drives, fans and power hungry graphics cards in them the risk of failure increases exponentially. Always remember to keep your console in a well ventilated area. If possible use compressed air to blow out the dust in the back where the fans are, this is preventive maintenance for your benefit.

XBOX 360 repair services require the technicians to be well experienced and informed about the functioning of the system. Our team deals with the newest game consoles, phones and laptops everyday.

As mentioned earlier, offering XBOX 360 repair services is just a small part of the big picture. We are capable of handling video game devices of almost all generations and makes, including hand held devices.

How the Digitizer / Touch Screen Works

There are two layers of glass for the digitizer assembly, the first is simply glass, which is what you touch. The second is attached to the first, and senses the touch via an electrical field that transmits and receives based on the ´return´ from your finger or stylus. The digitizer and LCD work independently from one another. So if one fails, it won’t necessarily cause the other part to fail. Cracked Glass-You can see the content on your screen, but there is broken glass that makes it hard to see. Cracks, splinters, and shattered glass can occur when dropped. While not often, sometimes screens will break inside pockets, usually due to pressure from keys or other hard objects impacting the screen. The digitizer (what reads the touch of your fingers) will typically still be responsive, but can also fail, if not immediately then over time.

Preventive measures include using a case for your iPhone that creates separation between objects and the screen. Cases that don´t create a ´lip´ on the glass side of the screen may be fashionable, but provide no protection. Screen protectors protect against scratches, not impact.

Digitizer (Touchscreen) Failure- iPhone stops responding to touchscreen commands. This can occur with impact damage (usually in association with cracks in the glass for the screen), extreme heat (such as lying in the sun for extended periods of time) or water damage to the device (although sometimes the main-board is too damaged to use a new digitizer/glass replacement).

Scratched Glass- Aesthetic repair for scratches on the external glass. Glass can scratch from a variety of things, including (but not limited to) keys in the same pocket as the iPhone, skidding across rough surfaces (concrete, walls, even hardwood floors).

Preventive measures include a plastic adhesive clear/ anti-glare or reflective screen protector. To prevent any kind of damages, it is always best to just buy a hard case, whether it is for an iPod, iPhone, iPad or any kind of tablet and or phone. It is always more cost effective to pay the $20 for a protective case than it would be to replace or repair the device.
